Current Competition:
It's competition time and this time the challenge is to write a children's story, targeted at children between the ages of 8 and 11.

There'll be a prize for the top entry in our readers' poll and another prize awarded by our special jury of 8-11 year olds.

How to Enter:
Your entries can be any length between 481 and 4,800 words! Post your entries in the 4800 words category, and select #Competition as one of your tags.

Your entries must be in by the 5th December, and the winners will be announced just in time for Christmas on the 19th December!

The Prize:
In addition to a place in our Hall of Fame, this time we're giving away four notebooks made from recycled stone, perfect for capturing ideas for your next pieces of brilliant creative writing.

Made from recycled stone, these are the world’s first climate-positive notebook. The water-proof, naturally white stone paper has no grain direction, resulting in a silky-smooth writing experience.

Resistant to tearing, waterproof and with no ink bleed, we think you're going to love these!
